In this picture, there were two groups, one group for each family. On the left is Mathilda with Jean David, and on the right is Tabatha and Ariel.
In this picture Mathilda is with Jean David, we are measuring a teaspoon of baking soda.
Here, Ariel and Tabatha are cutting a big chocolate bar into little pieces for the cookies. We used a big chocolate bar because in France chocolate chips are very expensive, and it is more fun to cut the chocolate into pieces. Because if we had just the chocolate chip cookies, we would only be able to make the dough, and not cut the chocolate. Plus, we can have different sizes of chocolate, some big and some small. But with chocolate chips, they are all the same size.
Here the cookies are finished and put on plates. But there is still more dough in boxes to take home and bake later. Mathilda and Jean David used all their cookie dough one week after making the dough. We ate the cookies with our family during Christmas vacation.
In this picture the cookies are finished, and they are bigger than they were before we baked them. We already ate one box of dough with Tabatha's best friend when she came to sleep at her house the next day. The other box of dough is in the freezer, we will bake the cookies on the 7th of March for Ariel's birthday.
